The Staycation Garden

This project was designed to create a peaceful, private escape for clients who are no longer able to travel as easily — bringing the feeling of a holiday retreat into their own back garden.

We transformed the space into a fully functional outdoor living area, centred around a bespoke timber summer house. The structure was built and fully insulated, complete with PVC doors and windows, allowing it to be used comfortably all year round.

The garden itself was designed with both beauty and ease of maintenance in mind. We installed artificial lawn for a clean, evergreen finish, alongside carefully selected planting to soften the space and add seasonal interest.

To enhance privacy and create a sense of enclosure, decorative screening was installed, casting striking shadows across the lawn and adding a unique design feature. A full lighting scheme was also incorporated, allowing the space to be enjoyed into the evening and throughout the seasons.

The result is a calm, low-maintenance garden that offers a true sense of escape — a place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the outdoors without ever needing to leave home.
