The Entertaining Terrace

This project was designed to transform the garden into a spacious, purpose-built area for relaxing and entertaining outdoors.

We created a large raised terrace using Fossil Mint Indian sandstone, bringing plenty of natural colour and character into the space. Bespoke steps connect the different levels of the garden, with decorative gravel used throughout to create a clean finish and highlight the warm tones of the stone.

A bespoke timber pergola was built across the rear of the terrace, creating a generous covered area that can be enjoyed in all kinds of weather. The structure was designed around how the clients wanted to use the garden, with space for seating, entertaining and features including a wall-mounted television and dartboard.

To finish the raised terrace, we installed a bespoke glass balustrade, keeping the space open and allowing uninterrupted views across the garden while providing a smart, contemporary contrast to the natural timber and stone. Sleeper planters were also incorporated into the landscaping, ready to bring planting and greenery into the finished space.

The result is a warm and inviting outdoor entertaining area with plenty of room to gather, relax and enjoy the garden - whether it’s a sunny afternoon or an evening under the pergola.
